Together Meet
Together Meet is a small calling app for two people. The interface keeps room sharing and joining simple; the engineering work sits in negotiation, device permissions, participant state, and cleanup when a peer leaves.

Keep signaling separate from media
Socket.IO coordinates room membership and relays offers, answers, and ICE candidates. WebRTC carries audio and video between peers, with configurable STUN/TURN connectivity for networks that cannot connect directly.
Handle the awkward states
The client handles missing devices, permission errors, a full room, and a departing peer. Focused component checks cover joining without a peer, admitting one remote participant, and clearing media when admission fails.
Android calling is a separate extension
Newer work adds private ringing links and an Android companion with incoming-call notifications. The Android app uses a restricted WebView for the meeting and native notification handling. End-to-end ringing on physical devices remains to be verified.
